First Use Plan Emails for 2024 Launch This Month

During the last week of February through the first week of March, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska launched the first quarterly use plan email to members.

This quarter’s email focuses on benefit details like copays and benefit limits, dependent medical consent information, and ways members can access health plan information on Premera.com or the Premera mobile app.

The goal of these emails is to direct members to key information about their health plan and provide clear instructions for self-service, making members feel more confidence when engaging with their health plan and navigate their care more efficiently.

Member recipients include:

• Fully insured funded groups
• OptiFlex funded groups
• Select national accounts
