In 2027, Premera will continue to offer flexible dental solutions to meet the needs of your clients. Standalone small group Dental Optima and large group Dental Optima plans provide access to the Premera Dental Choice network which now includes the national Dental GRID+ network. Our plan designs combined with expanded network access provides the services members need in locations convenient for them.

A whole-person approach to better health

Premera is expanding medical and dental integration with programs that bring oral health and overall health together. Planned enhancements include dental data integration within case management programs, proactive outreach to high-risk members who haven’t seen a dentist in more than a year, and an Enhanced Dental Care benefit that provides expanded preventive dental support for members with high-risk or chronic conditions.

This coordinated approach helps identify care gaps earlier, support preventive care, and create a more connected member experience.
