Fully insured and OptiFlex large groups renewing with Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska can now take advantage of a premium or total funding rate adjustment by completing their renewal early.

• 60 days out from renewal date equals 1% adjustment off the proposed increase
• 45 days out from renewal date equals 0.5% adjustment off the proposed increase

To guarantee the early bird adjustment, the following is required:

• Group Master Application for new groups
• Group Verification Report and confirmation of benefits and rates for renewing groups

Change requests after initial confirmation received void the early bird adjustment.
